Love, Lust or Tragedy?

Romeo and Juliet is not a love story. It’s a three-day relationship between a 13-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, that ends with six people dead!

On the Titanic, Rose decides to throw away a $250 million pendant in memory of an unemployed boy she had sex with once. Meanwhile her husband worked hard to support her and give her and her children a life of luxury who would have appreciated the inheritance. The real villain in the movie is quite obviously Rose!

Jenny in ‘Forrest Gump’; what people fail to realize is that it’s not a love story at all. It’s a damn tragedy! Jenny is a bad evil woman. She’s a hippie and a stripper and he’s a soldier that falls in love with her but she rejects him. Then when he becomes rich with his shrimp business, now suddenly she’s interested in him. But now it turns out, she secretly had his baby plus because of her promiscuity and possible drug use, she also has AIDS. But now she’s willing to be with him!

‘Notebook’ the famous love story is about cheating. ‘Bridges of Madison County’ is about cheating. ‘Titanic’ is about cheating, ‘Pearl Harbor’ is all cheating. All these box office ‘love story’ classics are based on infidelity and women not being happy with their relationship; and it’s romanticized.
